TECHNOLOGY
Our firm has a long tradition in the engineering area, with particular reference to cast-iron and alluminum castings.
In our modern foundry, we produce high quality castings in conformity with national and international regulations.
For the mechanichal castings division we normally produce:
- foliated cast-iron G15, G20, G30, table UNI 5007 and
GH130, GH170, GH190, GH210, GH230 TABLE UNI 5330
- nodular cast-iron UNI 400/12, 500/7, 600/2
- cast-iron alloied to copper, chromium, nickel and molybdenum

We have at our disposal the following plants:

a) Melting department:
- N.2 blast wind cupola fournaces, with a daily production of 100/130 ton of liquid cast-iron
- N.2 induction fournaces for homogenization, analitic control and possible cor-
b) Moulding plants:
- N. 1 automatic plant "DISAMATIC - Tipo 2013" Flasks dimension: 600x460 mm.
- N. 1 automatic plant "DISAMATIC - Tipo 2032" Flasks dimension 775x600 mm.
- Impact plant F40 Flasks dimension: 1400x1200 mm.
- Handi-work moulding

c) Shot-blasting plants:
- N.2 chamber blast machines

 
d) Core-shooters plants:
1) "COLD BOX" plants
2) "SHELL MOULDING" plants

In addition, for the production of nodular cast-iron, we have at our disposal the following plants:
1) Melting department:
- N.3 induction electrical fournaces, with a capacity of 4 tons of cast-iron each.
- N.2 voltaic arch fournaces, with a capacity of 4 tons of cast-iron each.

2) Moulding plants:
- Moulding plant GEORG FISCHER (SWITZERLAND)
Flasks dimensions: 800x600 mm. height: 240 mm. N. 50 moulding per hour
- Moulding plant ST (POLAND)
Flasks dimensions: 1.200x800 mm. height: 300 mm. N. 12 moulding per hour

3) Core production:
Cores are produced either for automatic moulding or for manual moulding.
- GAS (CT) technology
- COLD BOX (with BETASET resin)

4) Melting:
Melting is produced in a special GEORG FISCHER converter with a capacity of 1.000 Kg. per casting.
A ELKEM (Norvegian firm) magnesium alloy is used in this process.

e) Quality control:
quality control is made at various levels of the production cicle, mainly with an accurate selection of the entering raw materials, to continue with further controls in all the following production stages. Laboratory tests for metallurgical control, chemical analisys, magnetic-flux analisys and metallographic analisys are constantly made.

We produce high quality grey cast-iron castings and nodular cast-iron castings, intended principally to industrial firms building:
1) Tool machines and agricoltural machines
2) Water pumps and hydraulic industry in general
3) Gear motors and other mechanical components
4) Automobile industry products
5) Domestic appliance industry products
6) Urban and exterior furniture elements (dustbins, lamps, fountains, chairs, tables, benches, etc.)
7) Wheels and pulleys

We can satisfy every specific requirement, our foundry has a very modern workshop, able to develop and produce any pattern or any specific product. In addition, we have recently started up the mechanical finishing of the castings and we have at our disposal a set of technologically advanced tool machines.
