In IUMEX GROUP S.P.A. high quality castings are produced according to national and international regulations.
Quality control is managed at various levels of the production cycle, starting with a careful selection of incoming raw materials, and then continuing through all the other production phases.
Laboratory tests are constantly carried out for further metallurgical control, chemical analyzes, metalloscopic and metallographic analyzes.
We can meet any specific need, as we have modern equipment that can develop and produce any model for any specific product.

  • Mechanical Castings Division

    Disponiamo dei seguenti impianti per fusioni:

      • We have the following casting systems::

      • – 2 hot wind cupolas, with daily production of 100-130 tons of liquid cast iron
      • – 2 electric induction furnaces, for homogenisation, analytical control and any corrections.
      • Forming plants:

      • – Automatic system “DISAMATIC – Tipo 2013” Dim. staffe: 600×460 mm.
      • – Automatic system “DISAMATIC – Tipo 2032” Dim. staffe: 775×600 mm.
      • – Shock system F40 Dim. staffe: 1400×1200 mm. – 800×800 mm. – 800×1000 mm.
      • – Shock system FOROMAT F10 Dim. staffe: 400×300 mm.
      • – Shock system FOROMAT F20 Dim. staffe: 600×400 mm.
      • – Shock system FOROMAT F30 Dim. staffe: 500×500 mm. – 600×600 mm.

      • Sandblasting systems:

      • – 2 cluster sandblasters
      • Soul Shooting Implants:

      • – impianti “COLD BOX”
      • – impianti in “SHELL MOULDING”: schalco U900, schalco U180, lampe L 20
  • Production of ductile iron

    We have the following melting plants:

      • Ovens:

      • – 3 electric induction ovens, with a capacity of 4 tons each.
      • – 2 electric arc furnaces, with a capacity of 4 tons each.
      • Stairs and Forming Plant:

      • – GEORG FISCHER Molding Plant (SWITZERLAND). Frame dimensions: 800×600 mm. height: 240 mm. N 50 shapes/hour.
      • – ST Forming Plant (POLAND) Frame dimensions: 1,200×800 mm. height: 300 mm. N. 12 shapes/hour.
      • Core Production (both automatic and manual forming)

      • – GAS technology (CT).
      • – COLD BOX technology (with BETASET resin).
  • Quality check

    The quality control of our casting products is carried out using the following tools:

    • – Leitz microscope mm. 5a
    • – Wolpert 2 R c durometer
    • – Spectrolab S. Quantometer.
